I’m just back from the beach and am truly missing the fresh air and openness of Bay Head. As soon as I walk into the house after a summer away I just feel the need to perk the place up. I’ve noticed a few Fall home decor trends I like the look of and wanted to share.
The key to great Fall decor is feeling warm and snug in your home — and that’s exactly why Americana farmhouse style is big this season. Incorporating natural wood elements, animal motifs, and fresh Fall flowers is a simple way to add some great Fall style to your home. This could just be as simple as bringing in a few wooden accessories and beautiful fall flowers and herbs.
If you love mixing prints, patterns and colors, doing so with rugs is an unexpected and fun way to change the look of a room. Focus on rich textures like faux fur, cable knits, and velvet to really channel the Fall vibe. And don’t worry about going overboard with this trend – more is more!
