Saturday May 6 10 am to 5 pm Kite Day at Terhune Orchards, Princeton, NJ.  Children of all ages (and adults too!) can join in the fun. Bring your own kite or choose a ready-made kite from the wide selection in their store. Or better yet, make a “guaranteed to fly” kite. There will also be old-fashioned children’s games pin the tail on the piggy, blow bubbles, go “fishing”, and give a bean bag toss a try, and more. Children can also take a pony ride or get their face painted. Tractor rides and farmstand goodies available. Admission to festival grounds $5

Saturday May 6 2 pm-2:45 pm Do the folks in fairy tales always win in the end? Take the kids to see a live performance of “Happily Ever After”  at the South Orange Performing Arts Center and get ready to laugh out loud at hilarious renditions of some of the best stories from the Grimm Brothers’ iconic works. In this (not-so-grim) adventure, engaging performers from the Bright Star Touring Theater transform into Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, Rumpelstiltskin and The Elves and the Shoemaker.

Sunday May 7th 10 am to 2pm Junior League of Bergen County Annual Touch-A-Truck Children can climb on vehicles, beep horns, explore all kinds of trucks, jump in bounce houses, face painting, hands on crafts, food, music, and more! Get advance discounted tickets here.
